SW18 Area Guide

Southfields has a friendly community feel to it, with a family run butchers on the high street, independent shops and restaurants to the recent additions of The Gym and M&S it is always busy with people going about their days.  Flanked by Wimbledon Park and King George Playing fields there are plenty of green spaces around and you are just a short bus ride away from the River Thames.
Southfields takes centre spot on the international map for two weeks every year during the Wimbledon Championships; you will find the prestigious A.E.L.T.C a 10-minute walk from Southfields tube station.

Wandsworth Town is one of the oldest settlements in the borough of Wandsworth; you will find classic and modern buildings shoulder to shoulder.  It boasts many restaurants, bars, and a wide range of shops in Southside Shopping Centre.   Neighbouring Battersea and Clapham, Wandsworth Town is a significantly cheaper option with just as much on offer.   Renters and buyers alike will find they get more for their £, also worth a mention is the borough’s title of the UK’s cheapest council tax!

Earlsfield: You will find Earlsfield nestled in between Southfields and Tooting.  A mixture of its neighbours, Earlsfield is a family friendly area with plenty of green spaces and schools; it boasts great restaurants and pubs such as The Leather Bottle which is home to London’s biggest beer garden!
